Early this morning after breakfast, excursion trip to Cherrapunji (66 Km), the wettest region in the world receiving highest rainfall. Explore Krem Mawmluh Cave. Also, visit the Waterfalls of Cherrapunjee, the Eco Park and the Thangakharang Park. Return to Shillong. En-route, visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak. Evening free. Over night at Shillong.
Today after breakfast we drive to Mawllynnong (110 kms / 02 ½ hrs drive), explore the village and also trek for 10 min to visit the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai village, back to Shillong and overnight stay. About Mawlynnong Mawlynnong Village located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, also referred as ‘God’s own garden’ has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. The village known for its cleanliness is located around 90 kms from Shillong and is a community based eco-tourism initiative. The community has made collective effort to maintain the ambience of a clean village. The village offers picturesque natural beauty, a trek to the living root bridge at a neighbouring village Riwai. The village also offers a sight of natural balancing rock, a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. The adage Neighbours envy, owners pride%27 is apt for Mawlynnong as it has earned the distinction of being one of the cleanest villages in Asia, a fact that every Mawlynnong villager is proud of and other villagers are envy of. The village is quite pretty, especially in the monsoons when there is lush greenery all around, with waterfalls paving the way to small streams and abundance of flowering orchids dangling from the trees and hedges add to the beauty of the village.
Early morning, enjoy the Jungle Safari on Elephant inside the National Park (at own expense). Return to the hotel for breakfast and proceed for the Jeep Safari Safari inside the National park (at own expense). Then, proceed to Nameri National Park. Overnight stay at Nameri.
Early morning, take a jungle stroll with a tour guide as well as guard and explore the jungle where you can get to see such as Tigers, elephants, Black bears, Leopards, Indian Bisons, Pangolins, Clouded Leopards, Indian wild dogs, deer, Civet Cats, Jackals, Capped Langurs etc (at own expense). After breakfast, drive to Bomdila (120 km). Check-in at the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at Bomdila
After breakfast, proceed to Tawang (11,500 ft.). En-route, visit the Sela Pass. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Tawang.
After breakfast, visit Tawang Monastery, War Memorial, Craft Emporium, Namgye Lhaste, Pankang Teng Tso Lake (PT Tso Lake). Overnight stay at Tawang
After breakfast, transfer to Dirang. Check-in to your hotel and proceed for sightseeing. Visit Buddhist Monasteries, the Nuranang Waterfalls, the Hot Springs of Dirang with medicinal properties, The Apple and Kiwi Orchards, and the National Yak Research and Breeding Centre. Overnight stay at Dirang.
After breakfast, drive to Bhalukpong. On the way, visit the Orchidarium at Tippi, which houses about 300 species of orchids. Enjoy the scenic beauty, exotic waterfalls and the evergreen forests along the banks of river Kameng. Overnight at Bhalukpong
After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati. In the evening, take a boat ride in the Brahmaputra River (at own expense). Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Today visit Kamakhya Temple and Umananda Temple in the morning. In the evening, visit Sankardev Kalashetra and Balaji Temple. Proceed to the Airport/Railway Station for onward journey.

For the X-mas and new year period from 20 Dec to 05 Jan the payment is non-refundable. In case you cancel the trip after commencement, the refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
