Upon arrival at Madurai, meet assistance by our executive, followed by transfer to hotel (check in policies as per hotel norms). Onward proceed for sightseeing tour of Madurai visiting – the famous “Meenakshi Amman Temple” dedicated to goddess Parvati. Though it is famous by the name of goddess meenakshi, the temple is also dedicated to her consort lord Shiva as Sundareshwarar. Onward visit the beautiful Tirumalai Nayak palace – a 17th century marvel with beautiful architecture. In the evening visit to ‘Tiruparankundram’ a temple dedicated to the Lord Muruga and is famous as one of the six abodes of Lord Subramanya. Post visit return to hotel of stay. Today morning after breakfast start drive to Rameshwaram visit famous Ramanathaswamy temple, Gandhmadhana Parvatham, Hanuman temple and Dhanushkodi. In the afternoon explore another face of Rameshwaram with “Water sports activities”. There are many recreational activities such as kayak, jet ski, stand up board, windsurfing, snorkeling, coral watching, aquarium and many land games such as trampoline, mini wheel, dora-dora, water ball etc. Get a bird’s eye view of the coast while soaking in the sun and having the cool sea breeze blow through your hair. After early breakfast drive to so called the lands’ end – Kanyakumari (cape comorin). On reaching kanyakumari Check in to hotel and later for sightseeing visiting places of interest such as The Kumari Amman Temple – the shrine of Devi Kanya Kumari. Vivekananda Rock Memorial - stands on one of two rocks located about 500 meters off the mainland. Gandhi Mandapam - built on the spot where the urn containing the Mahatma Gandhi’s ashes was kept for public viewing before immersion. Thiruvalluvar Statue – the famous poet who recited Thirukkural. Breakfast at residing hotel. Check out and drive to Kovalam one of the popular beach destination in Kerala. Enroute visit the Thanumalayan temple at “Suchindram “. This 17th century temple boats about its architecture. One of the main attractions here is the 22ft high statue of Hanuman (Aanjaneyar). Later proceed to visit the famous “Padmanabapuram Palace”. This is a 16th century wooden palace, which was the residence of the Travancore king is yet another pride of art and architecture. Post visit proceed to Kovalam. A full day tour of Trivandrum along with visit to “Magic Planet”. After breakfast proceed for to Trivandrum and visit Sri Padmanaba Swami temple dedicated to Visnu/Krishna. Onward continue visit of Kuthiramalika (Horse palace) – is a beautiful place museum situated close to the temple. Proceed to visit the “Napier Museum” – one of the famous history museum in Kerala. After visit of Trivandrum, drive to reach “The Magic Planet” – a very special of its kind and is known to be the first magic mansion in the world. In the event of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s, we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
For the X-mas and new year period from 20 Dec to 05 Jan the payment is non-refundable. In case you cancel the trip after commencement, the refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
